Look after child's/children's physical well being -wash & bath them daily, help them to dress & undress, cut nails weekly, ensure hair is cut regularly, & that shoes get refitted regularly.
6.
Look after all the child's/children's clothes. This includes all washing ; ironing by the weekend, shoes regularly cleaned, clothes & soft toys mended; Put aside clothes that no longer fit.
7.
Keep child's/children's room clean & tidy. We had a Nanny but she is getting married hence would be moving with her Husband. Should you accept to take up the position with us, you can start as soon as your Flight Ticket, Travel Documents and other Travel Intineries are ready. We could recommend a Travel Agency for you, however all this depends on if you accept to Nanny for us. It is I who is mostly out of the country. My wife is usually home each day. Yes wedo have a maid who would assist you in seeing to thedietry needs of our kids.

Hi, both my husband and I are fost/adopt parents to four-year-old boy and girl twins. They started pre-school this year. We would like to know why are they in the same classroom where Spanish is taught to Spanish speaking preschoolers. We prefer to have our children learn their primary language (English) first before they get into this mixed language class. Hello! This is great! Can someone here actually help me? My 4 year old is ready to start pre-school in August and although I'd rather home-school him, I think the Pre-school experience can be very enriching in the right environment. Hence my quandry... We live in Fillmore. We have two pre-schools. One is a fairly new Catholic pre-school taught by two nuns. We, however, are not Catholic. The other pre-school is a Christian run facility with chapel one day a week and has 5 classes available. Four morning, one of those is a five day week, pre-K class and then there is one afternoon class - all full. The reason I didn't sign up my son is that two of the "teachers" are new AND not legally qualified to teach pre-school. When I asked the Director about their qualifications she said, I quote, " One of our new teachers was a child care worker and the other has been an aid for us." Would you chance your child's first school year to an under or unqualified staff? Me either. I was an aid at this school myself about 20 years ago. That hardly qualifies you to be an educator. The turnover of staff and Directors since is rather alarming. It was okay when I aided and again when my first child went there. Not ideal either time but satisfactory none the less. Since I'm not interested in the other pre-K class the only remaining option is with a teacher who does both a morning and the afternoon class. The problem is that according to the director, she "doesn't want ANY parental involvement because she wants to foster independence and feels that parental involvement interferes with that process" I am a hands on parent. I want to know what kind of environment I've placed my child in and I want to get a feel for the "attitude" of the teacher and the structure of the classroom and the daily activities. I have always volunteered one day a week to my oldest son's classes and always accompany the field trips when appropriate. My husband volunteers every other week. We are very active in the education of our precious boys. We are, afterall, ultimately responsible for our children's education and their well being. My oldest son will be in third grade in August and from the very beginning of his education (at this very same pre-school) to date I have been more than welcomed by every one of his teachers. Each of them showing great appreciation for my and my Husbands assistance and support. I want pre-school to be enriching and fun for my child but I am very wary of anyone who frowns on parental volunteers in the classroom. What are your thoughts on this? Ultimately, the best solution would be more variety in Fillmore but that won't happen in time for the coming semester. Can anyone help point me in in the direction an affordable, caring, reputable pre-school? I prefer a Christian based but may be willing to alter that preference a little given the right set of circumstances. My oldest son goes to school at 8:00 and is out at 2:05. I'll need at least 30 to 45 minutes to get to any pre-school out of town and to get back to pick up my oldest son. I'm looking at the Ventura, Thousand Oaks or the Ojai area but am willing to travel to Santa Clarita if needed. I am in need of and would greatly appreciate any feedback and/or first hand knowledge and experience with pre-schools in these areas. Cost is a major factor here also. Hi, I'm a graduate student at Towson University in Maryland. I'm working with an educational psychologist who has developed a new teaching method. If you could take a moment to review our website and let me know what you think, it would be very helpful for us. It's a new approach to learning and teaching that is based on individual differences.
