Conejo Valley's First 5 NfL Expands

Through a creative partnership between the City of Thousand Oaks, Conejo Valley Unified School District, and First 5 Ventura County, the First 5 Conejo Valley Neighborhood for Learning  (CV NfL) is expanding programs and services for children 0-5 years of age with the addition of The Neighborhood City Center for Young Children. Located at 110 S. Conejo School Rd (next to The Lakes) the center opened its doors in July 2009 is now accepting registrations for quality infant, toddler and preschool care.

Conejo Valley Neighborhood for Learning has added this state-of-the-art facility, owned by the City of Thousand Oaks to its five school-district based sites to expand its strong child centered and family focused philosophy and services. CV NfL will also be subcontracting with the City of Thousand Oaks to provide State Preschool Services.

In addition, CV NfL will be offering half day 4 day per week preschool at Earths Elementary, University Elementary and NfL @ Way to Grow Preschool for 3-5 year olds. Space is limited and parents are encouraged to contact Neighborhood for Learning for additional registration information and to schedule a facility tour.

CV NfL will provide the following services for children ages 0-5 years of age:
• High quality program and state of the art facility (hours 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mon-Fri)
• Full-day Infant/toddler care and education
• Full-day and half-day preschool
• Highly educated, well trained, and caring staff
• Child-centered and family-focused philosophy
• Holistic approach for preparing children 0-5 for school readiness
• Healthy Nutrition program: No sugar policy
• Parent support and education
