First 5 Ventura County is now in year four of its five-year strategic plan. This means that we are taking a hard look now at how we are doing, how the needs of the community have evolved and how we can best continue to support local children and families. First 5 partners, parents and community members will each have opportunities to share input though surveys and/or focus groups, First 5 staff is conducting extensive data and literature review and the First 5 Commission will continue to focus on the strategic planning process .
