Recognized nationally for excellence, NfLs are family resource centers empowering children prenatal through age five and their families. A child’s brain develops faster from birth to age three than at any other period in life, building the foundation for a child’s future learning, behavior, and health. Parents and other caregivers can play a lead role in their child’s healthy development, but often they are stretched in the earliest months and years of their child’s life. The impact of parents may never be greater than during the earliest years of life.
