Throughout Ventura County, the First 5 Neighborhoods for Learning (NfLs) are helping families raise children who are healthy, nurtured, and prepared for kindergarten. We offer Parent and Child Together (PACT) classes, screenings, referrals, parent education, resources and more for your family.
Recognized nationally for excellence, NfLs are resource hubs supporting children prenatal through age five and their families. A child’s brain develops faster from birth to age three than at any other period in life, building the foundation for a child’s future learning, behavior, and health. Parents and other caregivers can play a lead role in their child’s healthy development, but often they are stretched in the earliest months and years of their child’s life. The impact of parents may never be greater than during the earliest years of life.
The 13 NfL locations offer Parent and Child Together (PACT) classes for families with children ages 0–5. The NfLs are open and hosting online classes weekly through Zoom, Facebook and ClassDojo, in the safety of your home. We look forward to hosting in-person classes as soon as it is safe. Our online programs continue to offer high-quality, teacher-led educational experiences.
All PACT classes are currently held online. We look forward to hosting in-person classes as soon as it is safe.
